Tutorsity Refund Policy

Tutorsity values transparency and fairness in all transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and rescheduling are available for sessions booked on our platform. It applies to all users, including students and tutors. By using Tutorsity, you agree to these terms.​


Rescheduling:

Students and tutors can reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the session may be treated as a cancellation, and the respective fees may apply as per our cancellation guidelines.


Refunds:

Refunds are issued only in the following specific situations:

1. The tutor cancels the session.

2. The session did not occur due to technical issues on the Tutorsity platform.

Refunds are NOT available for student no-shows, late arrivals, dissatisfaction with session content, or issues caused by the student's internet or device problems. 


Refund Process:

1. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours after the scheduled session via the Tutorsity support ticket system or designated refund form in your account dashboard.

2. The Tutorsity team will review the request promptly and notify you of eligibility within 48 hours of submission.

3. Eligible refunds will be processed and credited back to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.

Note: Processing fees, payment gateway charges, or third-party transaction costs are non-refundable. Partial refunds may apply based on session completion status.


How to Request a Refund

  1. Log in to your Tutorsity account.

  2. Navigate to "My Sessions" or "Support" section.

  3. Submit a refund request form with session details, reason, and supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of technical issues).

  4. Await confirmation email from our team.

Policy Updates

Tutorsity reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted here and/or notified via email or on-platform announcements. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updates.
